  1. How do I sign up?  All parents must fill out a player participation form by clicking this link www.nflflag.com/registerThis is absolutely necessary for your child to play. 

  2. Where will games be played? All games will be played at the renamed Kenny Easley Athletic Fields – 1056 Cascade Blvd. Practices will be held at Kenny Easley Athletic Fields or Chesapeake City Park

  3. When will games be played? All games will be played on Saturday starting in the morning.

  4. When will practices be held?  The first (2) practices will be held on a field close to your team neighborhood and typically once a week. The head coach will decide the field. Practices will be no longer than one hour. Coaches are encouraged to work with players/parents schedules since many participants play multiple sports.

  5. Will participants get to meet current and former NFL players?Yes, NFL players will visit our game site when advertised.

  6. How much does it cost? The cost is $55 which covers your NFL reversible team jersey and flags, USA Football membership and player insurance.

  7. Can you request teammates? Yes, after you register please submit your request via email to forcefive@keneasley5.com We will do our best to accommodate your request.

  8. How many players will be on each team? 6 to 10 players can be on each team, however, until we grow the league larger, we will play 6 on 6.

  9. I’m interested in being a volunteer coach, who should I contact? Coaches can register by clicking this link http://www.nflflag.com/form/coach

  10. How long are the games/season? Games are 60 minutes long, divided into two 30 minute halves with a 10-minute halftime.

  11. How much will my child play? All participants will play almost an equal amount of time

  12. Why should my child play Ken Easley NFL Flag Football? Parents wary of concussions and head injury trauma to their children, should be. Although theoretically flag football should be a safer sport than tackle football, however, accidental collision can and does happen in flag football too.

  13. What are the age divisions?

                          7-8 year olds (Rookies); 9-10 (Veterans); 11-12 (Franchise); 13-14 (All-Pros)

  14. Can I request a refund? Yes, you may request a refund up to 3 days after your registration date. No refunds will be given after the 3 day grace period (no exceptions).

  15. Are teams required a team sponsor? All teams and the team parent(s) should endeavor to secure a team sponsor for ($300). The team sponsor name can be written on the team jerseys; If a team is unable to find a community sponsor, then the ($300) might be split amongst the team members. (Sponsor funds due before the season starts.)

  17. Can I (a parent) join the Ken Easley Better Game Experience Committee? Yes, I would be delighted to have parents directly involved in a better game experience for your kids. The better game experience will ensure that all participants have the proper gear to play, water or Gatorade for hydration, snacks for after games, rideshare to and from games and practices, determine discipline for a kid or visiting parent in violations of the rules, provide medical kits for small scrapes, scratches and cuts and help identify a community sponsor for your individual teams.
